Julia Louis Dreyfus was born to writer Judith and Gerard Louis Dreyfus, a Frenchman who inherited the family's Louis Dreyfus Group that deals in commodities trading and merchandising. Julia’s father besides being a businessman is also an attorney. Julia's parents got divorced during her childhood and her mother later got married to L. Thompson Bowles.
